I cannot believe it's already been a year already since you've been gone. It almost doesn't really seem real. I know that I haven't always been the best person in the world and you haven't been either, even though it really cannot be helped thanks to Alzheimer's. I do hope you know that I miss you so much.

There was a time where you used to be my hero and were the father I wished I had, when my father spent most of his time working. You used to pick me up from school when I either needed a ride home, especially when my father forgot to pick me up or when I was sick. We used to take rides to the deer park and talk about our day. I hope you do know that I love you very much and how much I will cherish the memories we both have shared. I will never forget any of them. Especially the times where we would go for motorcycle rides to Dairy Queen and how you would tease me and bet that I couldn't eat a whole banana split. Well grandpa I can now! LOL

As my birthday gets closer and closer, I can't help but think about how we used to celebrate together. We celebrated my birthday and we celebrated you and your selfless act of defending our country. :) Now it's not the same since you're gone. Please know that we are talking care of grandma for you until she takes her last breath and she's not lonely. Please give my aunt Lori and great grandma and grandpa a hug for me! Until we meet again. R.I.P. Grandpa

Today I remembered why I don't hardly post in the main forums anymore. If it isn't the role players posting in the forums, it's the ones who get all rude and butt hurt over other's opinions being voiced and feel the need to name call because they don't agree with said opinions. So as a quote to share with everyone:

"Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one"

Nobody is always going to agree with someone else's opinion. If you don't like what is being said, then that's ok. If you like what is being said, then that's alright too. There was seriously no need to start a fight with other people and there was no need to call a whole group of people who posted in a thread "Buttheads" "Oh I'm going to ignore all of you buttheads and say this." How about you say what you need to say without name calling and insulting people. How about you take the higher road and stated what you wanted to say and then be done with it. It's really not that hard. Rant over

Even I respect other's opinions and I don't even like anyone, I usually use proper etiquette such as avoiding personal attacks. Only if I really have to and if making a point do I get ruthless "well, even more so)

Some people do need to be shook back to reality. I don't blame you for not wanting to be a part of the main forums, I've been tempted to avoid it myself but you shouldn't let people put you off, if there aren't any decent posters there then you may as well hand the forums over to the idiots. I no longer see Dabs, upir or any of the old posters now.

Well just got back from my 9 day adventure. I went and stayed at my Aunt's home in Iowa. We had lots of fun. We went to three birthday parties. Two of them were for the three babies (1 set of twins) that turned one and the other for my cousin who turned 32. We had Applebees the first night we were in town and Happy Joes for the twins birthday party.

We traveled to LeClaire, Iowa to see the American Pickers shop that's located there and to shop around. I was hoping to go to my favorite popcorn shop to get my heath bar popcorn, but the shop was closed. I was so bummed out by it. That was the best popcorn ever!

We traveled to Davenport we went to Target and JC Penney's and did some shopping there. We don't have these stores in Quincy, unless we travel to Springfield, IL. We had dinner at Olive Garden. That is by far my favorite place to eat at and they had my favorite deal that's currently going on, endless pasta bowl. If I could live at Olive Garden I so would!

Now Thursday was by far the best night of the week. We went and played bingo. I had a great time. I managed to win the 50/50 bingo pot of $105. I didn't win any of the games but I won that.

Friday consisted of going gambling in Davenport but none of us coming out winners. Lol we went back to Target and shopped because grandma wanted more pumpkin pop tarts. She became obsessed with those. Lol

The weekend up until today consisted of spending time with family and having somewhat of a big family dinner. Well it was dinner at Pizza Hut. But regardless very delicious.

All in all I did have a great vacation and just wished it didn't end so soon.

So it's been a very eventful day today. *sarcasm* My neighbor's son and his girlfriend got into it again. Domestic Violence at it's finest. *sarcasm* You could literally tell who the abuser was in this situation and it was obviously him. This fight lasted a whole hour when she was screaming and crying and demanding her to let her go and leave her alone. There were times where I heard noises where it sounded like she was being slammed into walls, which later she confirmed it did happen. The guy drove off and left and our neighbors called the cops on him. This is literally the second time within a week the cops have been called. My mother and I brought the girl into our home so she could call someone, which she called her mother. She sat there in the living room and proceeded to her mother that he grabbed her arm and slammed her in the wall and proceeded to try to choke her out. We sat around and talked to her, trying to calm her down until her mother came and got her.

This domestic violence has been going on for a very long time since we've known both of them. I'm just hoping that after today this will be the last of it and she doesn't go back to him. I don't know what the cops said to either of them but we overheard the asswipe blaming her for his blow up, since he doesn't know how to talk quietly. Typical abuser behavior right there always blaming the victim for things they do wrong. He's afraid that this incident will cause him to lose custody of his son. which in my honest opinion he should since god knows this child who's probably 6 or 7 years of age has seen a lot unnatural behavior exhibited from his father that no child should ever witness. The cops and the girl just finally left 5 mins ago and now asswipe is upstairs throwing a huge temper tantrum over it all.

So that's how my day has been so far!

Domestic abuse only happens if one of them is too weak to fight back. That woman should have gouged his eye out, punched or kicked him, headbutted and so on.

But no, most women and men who are victims of DA just simply take it like a bitch instead of actually fighting back. I have no pity for anyone, especially the weak. Only those who fight back are deserving of respect.

It's amazing how a one year anniversary can sneak up on you like it has today and how it will happen two more times this month. It still seems unreal to me that you are no longer here with us and are now looking down on us from the skies. It feels like yesterday that we just seen you and went with you on camping trips and watching you and your girlfriend get so drunk that you got shot in the ass with a Roman Candle. LOL Like always I will cherish the memories and the moments we have shared together. I hope you are keeping grandma, grandpa, great grandma, and great grandpa company and please do tell them hello for me. I miss all of them dearly. Until we meet again please enjoy drinking coke and whiskey with Jesus! :)
